It’s rewarding to me to donate to Grammar, knowing that I am helping to provide the same meaningful education to others that I once received, and to enable successful futures. ”

“At Grammar, I was surrounded by an intelligent and diverse community, full of dedicated teachers and motivated students. With a combination of increased challenges, opportunities and support at school, I learned the importance of working hard, being a team player and taking chances in life –on myself and on others.”

Looking back, some of Dan’s fondest memories revolve around his participation in several sports teams and extracurricular activities at the school. Having taken a great deal from these experiences, Dan shares in Grammar’s belief that learning occurs in many different forms, and that all types of learning should be made a priority in educational programming.

Understanding the long-term impact of a truly comprehensive education, Dan supports Grammar in helping to develop today’s youth, believing that they, too, will become leaders tomorrow.

“Grammar holds a special place in my memory bank and I want to be sure Halifax continues to churn out bright and motivated youth into the world. This doesn’t happen by accident; it is the result of a vision, planning, commitment and resources. It’s rewarding to me to donate to Grammar, knowing that I am helping to provide the same meaningful education to others that I once received, and to enable successful futures. ”
